My Profile

I am a registered speech and language therapist with 18 years’ experience working with children and young people with a wide range of communication needs. I strongly believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to understand and be understood. In terms of my approach to work, I am passionate about working closely with parents and teachers as this is the best way to support children and young people who have communication difficulties. My aim is to work with schools and parents to provide effective interventions and specific approaches, based on a clear and shared understanding of the child and young persons needs, that can be easily integrated into the day. Small changes can make a big difference!
